AMU Poznań Student Chapter of AAPG
Poznan Student Chapter of AAPG affiliated to Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan was established and officially approved in January, 2012. It is the third Student Chapter in Poland after Warsaw SC and Cracow SC. Student Chapter in Poznan was established for students that demand for closer insight at the hydrocarbons industry as well as for gaining first career experience in geoscience.
Today, after almost two years of activity, we can show off many events which happend thanks to ours member engagement. It is very importand to us, that Expert’s Lectures, Workshops or Courses arranged by us are a chance to improve skils not only chapter’s members, but also every who is interesting in petroleum science.

American Association of Petroleum Geologists
AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) was founded in 1917 and currently has more than 30,000 members and is currently the world’s largest professional geological society. It icludes geologists, geophysicists, CEOs, managers, consultants, students and academicians. The purpose of the organization is to foster scientific research, advance the science of geology, promote technology and inspire high professional conduct. Student Chapter
The Student Chapter Program of AAPG is made up of collegiate groups of geoscience students and one of the world’s foremost co-educational programs within the geoscience sector with 250 chapters. It provides students the opportunity to develop leadership skills and serves as a focal point for developing a feeling of professionalism through meeting industry representatives.
